The Government has organised ITI training for technical education seekers in Rajasthan.
There is good news for boys and girls who want to pursue technical education. The admission process for this session in Government ITI in the entire Rajasthan including Sikar has started. Any technical education aspirant can apply for it. The last date for application is 10th July. The mode of application is online. ITI means Industrial Training Institute. It is a government training organization responsible for providing high school students with industry-related education. The institute is an establishment of the Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGET), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. They offer training in technical streams.
ITI offers a range of vocational training courses catering to the needs of different sectors of the economy/labour market. These programmes are delivered under the aegis of the National Council of Vocational Training. NCVT offers two pioneer programs for propagating vocational training.
To clear the ITI course, candidates are required to demonstrate the following tasks:
1. They must be able to read and interpret technical parameters/documents, plan and organise work processes and identify necessary tools.
2. They must be able to document the technical parameters related to the undertaken task.
3. They must be able to apply professional skills, knowledge, and employability skills while performing their tasks.
4. They must be skilled in performing tasks with due consideration of safety rules, accident prevention regulations and environmental protection stipulations.
After doing ITI, any youth can work as a technical assistant in railways and the army. Students can get government jobs in the police department. Tata Motors, Hyundai and Suzuki are also possible companies that hire students who have done ITI. They can also start a business.
The Superintendent of Karmabai Government Industrial Training Institute, Laxmangarh, said that the Government ITI located in Laxmangarh, helpdesks have been set up for students in case they face any admission-related problems.
Any student in the 10th or 12th grade can apply by visiting the online portal through e-Mitra. Admissions are being held for various seats in the private and government ITI institutes. This year admissions are being taken for a total of 68 seats out of which, 48 seats are in cosmetology and 20 seats in electrician, in Karmabai Government ITI Laxmangarh Sikar. Apart from this, if girls apply to the ITI technical education field, they will be given free admission and will be taught for free.
